Rik was born in Nepal in 1922. After a largely undistinguished academic career, Rik discovered his vocation, apple peeling. It is a little known fact that Rik is the 3rd fastest apple peeler in Oxfordshire. Unfortunately for Rik the demand for Consistently Rapid Apple Peelers has declined in recent years and as a result, Rik has diversified. His company, Peel Oxfordshire Organisation, will now consider peeling any fruit or vegetable, so long as the money is right. In his spare time, Rik enjoys most sports and eating lots of fruit.
